"I attended the developing personal support networks workshop last week... and it was excellent.  I went with the goal of getting ideas to bring back to the [Community] Council, but couldn’t avoid thinking of many things I could do for my own daughter to improve her support system and safety.  The practical strategies and worksheets, the pacing and opportunities for sharing, to say nothing of the overall stimulation of ideas were powerful and to the point.  ... 

I believe the workshops should definitely help to do that.
I have to say, also, that the dedication and commitment of the people who attended was enormously encouraging.  The profession of helping persons with disabilities seems to attract really good people...  With very best wishes.  Peter Swayne"
