Our residential services provide housing and support to approximately 50 people who live in duplexes, houses and apartments throughout Greater Vancouver. Some homes
are owned or rented by Spectrum, others by individuals or their families.

Spectrum operates four duplex residences in East Vancouver. Each of the duplex suites is shared by two or three people. Staff are available 24-hours per day, 7 days a week. Residents participate in various activities or day programs outside the home during the weekdays.

Our supported living program assists people to live in their own houses or apartments. Usually two residents share a home, although some individuals prefer to live alone. Most have a live-in caregiver who receives room and board in exchange for being available through the night. Staff support is provided during the daytime and evenings according to the needs of each resident.

Spectrum’s residential services are funded by Community Living B.C., local Health Authorities, BC Housing Management Commission and by microboards.
