At the recent Policy Committee Meeting, Policy Representatives asked about Spectrum enrolling in the Employer Pass Program
Employees can get annual bus passes for about a 15% discount.
One Zone Passes cost $63.50 per month instead of $73.00.
Two Zone Passes cost $85.50 per month instead of $99.00.
Three Zone Passes cost $117.17 per month instead of $136.00.
For Spectrum to enroll in this program, we need 25 employees willing to make a one year commitment. Please complete the following Expression of Interest if you would like to buy your bus pass through Spectrum's Employer Bus Pass Program. Your monthly fee would be deducted from your payroll - 1/2 on each cheque.

Caregiver Application

This is the "BASIC" application. Keep these on file for six months.
The next step may be a phone conversation (pre-screen) with the applicant, or you may wish to proceed directly to the detailed application and interview.
Before the interview, ask the applicant to complete the detailed application, which they can download from the public Supported Family Care site. They can either fax or mail this application to you.
After you review the detailed application, if you still wish to interview the person, then set up a time to do so. If you decide not to interview someone who has submitted the detailed application, please respond to them with a letter to acknowledge the time they've put into the application process.
Please complete the "follow-up" section of this form so the rest of your team knows what steps have been taken with each applicant. Leaving the "follow-up" section blank indicates that no response has been given.

Spectrum Job Posting Applications
|
This list proposes the core list that allows public users and/or staff to apply for a job posting. We would programatically restrict the staff fields from showing on the public view (a custom add item page) that might contain the applicant's name, application date, posting # drop down + posting title and instructions to click "attach" to upload their résumé and/or cover letter.
The list having content approval, will allow admins to view the entries (in fact an alert can be set to e-mail one); only the applicant can see their entry upon future viewing and without approving any applications, you will ensure that the list only behaves as a mechanism to capture the résumé.
The fields I propose in the list will then be accessed by only admins or management you allow, with fields to store 1st and 2nd interview data plus a date to indicate whether a rejection letter was sent. Of course you can add as many more or trim what I proposed to tailor the list to your liking.
This will:
- provide a place for applicants to apply
- a place to capture the résumé and/or cover letter
- a secure, non-public view of applications; shielded even further by content approval
- a place to store interview info and follow-ups
- a place to indicate whether they were sent a rejection letter
- a mechanism to alert staff to new applications (if using alerts ;-)
The work required to make this happen would be:
- create a custom add item page that trims the columns they see; admins can work from the list itself by clicking "admin" and "documents and lists"
- create some logic code to auto-populate the job title when the posting # is selected (simply to confirm they are choosing the right job)
Optional, but worth considering is moving the Spectrum Job Postings list to the internal ShareVision site so that staff lookups can occur (I am currently looking up to the user list for the public site). Also, it may allow tying into other internal lists, but that is something for you to think about and assess. An additional step would exist where Nick would "filter" the view of the internal list to the public site.
