She is not interested in educating but expects anyone working with her to be respectful of her Indigenous culture. She has great humour and appreciates humour from others as well as kindness and engagement.

CSW: $24.50/hour to $26.65/hour

Preferred Training or Experience:
– Participation and/or experience working with indigenous organizations and an understanding of indigenous culture, traditions and lived history.
-Clear communication, observational and active listening skills
-Excellent critical thinking and interpersonal skills
-The ability to assist with community connecting skills and to motivate and encourage
-Experience with lifts/transfers and physically able to push a manual wheelchair
-Prior experience providing personal hygiene support/care
Specific Training or Experience Required:
- Supporting People who get anxious
- Ability to motivate, encourage and engage the interests of others.
- Computer proficiency (email, Word, internet usage)
