Apartment Support

Our Apartment Support service is a unique partnership involving BC Housing, Community Living BC (CLBC), and Spectrum Society for Community Living. Here’s how it works: CLBC helps people who want to live independently find suitable and affordable apartments in BC Housing buildings. Once they’ve found a place, CLBC collaborates with Spectrum Society to arrange the right level of support needed for each person to thrive.

BC Housing plays a crucial role in providing affordable housing across the province. However, they recognized that some tenants faced challenges in maintaining successful tenancies due to needing additional support. This is where our Apartment Support service can help.

For the past 15 years, we’ve been working closely with CLBC and BC Housing to assist up to 25 tenants at a time in living independently in their own apartments. These apartments are in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and Surrey. Through this service, we aim to help people to live fulfilling lives in their own homes while receiving the necessary support to succeed.
