The Great British Columbia Shakeout

On October 17, 2019 at 10:17 am the Spectrum Office participated in an Earthquake Drill as part of The Great British Columbia Shakeout.  Ernie is demonstrating one way to be protect yourself during an Earthquake.  If possible crawl under a desk and wait for the shaking to stop.

Have earthquake kits in more than one location in your home or office.  We have sets at the front of the office and in the back of the office.  During a natural disaster you may not have access to all areas of your space.  Your kits need to be kept current with food and water rations, batteries and other items to sustain you for up to 3 days.  We can assist you in purchasing these items.  You can take a look and see what is recommended.  https://totalprepare.ca/shop/kits/72-hour-kits-essential_premium-72-hour-kits/
