The Ministry of Social Development Invites You to Participate:
Do you have a child with developmental disabilities who will soon be an adult? Or is your family member already an adult and you want to learn more?
Do you support an individual with a developmental disability – as a teacher, health practitioner, counsellor, service provider or in any other role?
From Oct. 30 to Nov. 27, the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is hosting community engagement workshops in 14 communities throughout the province to get feedback on the proposed integrated service delivery model.
We want to hear from you – whether you’re an individual with developmental disabilities, a family member, advocate, service provider, health practitioner, educator, local government staff or an interested community member.Your feedback is important to ensure we’re heading in the right direction with this proposed model.
As a participant, you will have a key role in the success of the integrated service delivery model and will be influential in shaping the design and development of this system.
Benefits of participating:
- Ability to provide input into the design of a new integrated service delivery system for people with developmental disabilities.
- Opportunity to share knowledge and experience with others on the development of the service delivery model.
- Opportunity to collaborate and engage in dialogue with others on improving services to adults with developmental disabilities.
