Freeing Teresa: A True Story by Franke James (with Teresa Heartchild) tells the courageous true story of Teresa and her sister Franke’s stand against the medical system, the police and their siblings, to defend Teresa’s right to community and where to live.
The release date is October 12th, and will be available as an audiobook.
Franke and Teresa will be holding a book launch for Freeing Teresa at Spectrum’s Open House on October 24th at Hewett Hall, where there will be the opportunity to listen to a reading from Franke, hear a few words from Teresa, and buy your own copy of the book!
