| There is now just one week left to nominate your fellow British Columbians who deserve to be recognized for helping people stay connected and included during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The nomination deadline for the 2020 CLBC Widening Our World (WOW) Awards is next Monday, August 31 at 5:00 p.m.
Each year, the WOW Awards celebrate people who are making their communities more inclusive. This year the awards will highlight people who are using innovative ways to stay in touch, to create friendships and a sense of belonging. We want to hear the stories about how people have showed courage, leadership and creativity to keep individuals connected during COVID-19.
It’s easy to submit an online nomination on the CLBC website here or you can find the printable form here that can be submitted by mail.

Winners will be chosen in September by the selection committee, then announced and profiled on the CLBC website, in our newsletters and on social media during Community Inclusion Month in October.
