2026 Down Syndrome Film Festival

The fourth annual Down Syndrome Film Festival will showcase four films created by and starring members of BC’s Down syndrome community, including short films Tim, Work in Progress: Employment for People with Down Syndrome, and Unified Voices, plus full-length feature King Arthur’s Night.
King Arthur’s Night is a genre-defying documentary film, directed by John Bolton of Opus 59 Films, inspired by a medieval musical play created by an amazing company of artists living with and without Down syndrome, including award-winning playwrights Niall McNeil and Marcus Youssef; visionary director James Long; and iconic musician Veda Hille.
