Employee News – February 3rd, 2017

Employee Memo

In an effort to further support the health and well-being of our employees, we are pleased to announce that  effective February 1, 2017 Spectrum Society will be covering 50% of the cost of Long Term Disability (LTD) Premiums.  In the event of an LTD claim, the benefits you receive on a monthly basis will remain non-taxable because the portion of premium that Spectrum pays will be a taxable benefit.

The above change is in addition to last month’s  announcement regarding our new Health and Dental Benefits provider, Manulife Financial, also effective February 1, 2017. Benefits cards are expected to be distributed within the next 10 to 15 business days. If there are benefit related questions or concerns, please direct them to Human Resources at
