Spectrum Society’s Open House and Annual General Meeting

Everyone is welcome to drop by and say Hi at our Open House and Annual General Meeting!

Accessibility Legislation for BC

The B.C. Government is committed to developing new laws, standards, and policies to better support people with disabilities to live with dignity and to meaningfully participate in their communities. Accessibility legislation would empower government, persons with disabilities, and the broader community to work together to identify, remove, and prevent barriers.

We will be hosting a community consultation during the Open House, on the Framework for Accessibility Legislation in BC.  You can learn more about what could be included in the legislation, and you can provide input and feedback on how BC can best ensure our communities are accessible to all.

Elections Canada wants you to vote!

We will also have a kiosk with information from Elections Canada on how you can participate in the upcoming Federal Election.  Come by to get your questions answered on where to vote, what assistance you can ask for when you vote, how to assist someone to vote, if they need assistance.
