Please make sure you let the person you’re referring know to mention you when they apply and come in for their interview. It’s also a good idea to email firstname.lastname@example.org and give Human Resources a heads up.
Registering your Compass Card
You might want to register your Compass Card to protect your unused balance if your card is lost or stolen.
Below please find the Translink link to register your card:
- They will ask for the compass card number
- CVN code (which is on the back of the compass card)
- Card name is optional (give your card a name (e.g. John UBC – instead of a number)
Then a check “I agree to the Compass Card Terms and Conditions of Use for creating an account”
Then follow the prompts.

On March 7, 2019 we told you that we were introducing a new simplified online member registration process with the goal of making it easier for plan members to register for mySunLife.ca and the my Sun Life mobile app.
Sun Life sometimes finds it necessary to disallow certain medical and dental service providers, clinics, facilities or medical suppliers, and pharmacies from claims processing and reimbursement in an effort to better protect your plan.
Sun Life is redefining benefits with smart, accessible services that make benefit dollars work harder to help Canadians live healthier lives. New functionality has made it easier for plan members to manage their plans by providing them with direct access through self-service tools. We’re also helping plan members find a financial advisor through a new section on the app.
