Plans for 2026

In the second year of our strategic plan (2026), we are building on what we learned in year one:

A Good Life in Community
We are supporting a self-advocate to deliver a presentation about leading your own services. We are continuing to apply LIFE/Inclusion Plus ideas to our Community Inclusion service. We are creating a guide to navigating housing and presentation that will help people better understand housing options.

Protecting Spectrum’s Future
We are supporting leadership growth by creating leadership development resources on our website and in ShareVision. We are also developing a simple performance management flowchart for employees. We are continuing to work on supporting major leadership transitions. The Spectrum board of directors is beginning a recruitment process to prepare for the retirement of the Executive Director.

Strong Teams
We will develop a staff recognition survey focused on recognition and appreciation. We will focus on including more people we support and families in Spectrum events and create clearer communication about ways people we support, and families, can get involved in Spectrum activities.

Enhancing Our Contributions
We are continuing to strengthen our partnerships by designing strategies to deepen key partnerships. We will be putting our social media plan into action. We will also be co-hosting a speaker or training event with a partner organization.
